Q Affirming Statement

At Q, we respect the dignity of all people and believe that all people have innate worth that is not dependent on their cultural, spiritual or religious background; socio-economic status, gender, physical or mental abilities; or sexual orientation.

As an affirming and inclusive community, all are welcome to attend gatherings, participate in service positions and receive services offered, including baptism, marriage, communion and pastoral care.

At Q, we are committed to living and sharing The Way of Jesus in a way that promotes inclusion of persons who have traditionally been rejected and oppressed by the church. This includes the LGBTQ community. We are committed to providing a respectful, inclusive and safe space, where we join with others in solidarity on the path to spiritual awakening.
